KS2 Oracy Unit 1: Finding Your Voice | Assembly + Talks + Lessons

Children discover that speaking and listening are skills they can grow - like reading or football - and that their voice matters. The unit ends with every child sharing a short "my favourite thing" talk. One pack, three ways to teach it: - Launch Assembly - script + deck to open the unit - Quick Talk (10-15 min) - six no-prep talk sessions with short decks - Full Lessons (40-45 min) - six complete plans + decks with discussion questions, activities and a model for every task The six sessions: 1) What is talk for? 2) My voice, my body 3) Wonderful words 4) Brave talking 5) Super listening 6) My favourite thing.
