Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. Who we are
verityeducation.co.uk (“the Site”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Verity Education. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Site and any purchase you make through it. By using the Site or buying a product from us, you agree to these terms.
2. What we sell
We sell digital teaching and learning resources for immediate download (lesson packs, schemes of work, courses and bundles of these). Nothing physical is shipped. Access to a resource is granted automatically after successful payment, and is available from your account under “My downloads” and “My courses”.
3. Your licence to use what you buy
Unless a product states otherwise, every purchase is licensed as a single-school licence: the resource may be used, adapted and taught by staff within the one school or setting that made the purchase. It may not be resold, redistributed, shared outside that school, uploaded to a public or shared repository, or used to create a competing product.
Departmental, multi-site, MAT or diocesan licences are available for some products at a higher price — where a listing does not offer one and you need one, contact us before purchasing.
All content remains the intellectual property of Verity Education (or, where indicated in a product’s description, of the third-party framework or curriculum body it references). Your licence is a right to use the material; it is not a transfer of ownership or copyright.
4. Accounts
You need an account to purchase and to access what you’ve bought. You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
5. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Prices are shown in GBP and include any VAT we are required to charge. Access to a resource is granted once payment has cleared.
6. Refunds and cancellation
See our Refund Policy for the full terms on cancelling or requesting a refund on a digital purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site: no attempting to gain unauthorised access, no scraping or bulk-downloading content outside a normal browsing session, no uploading unlawful material, and no using the Site in a way that could damage, disable or impair it.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Site available at all times but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, remove or add products, and may update these terms from time to time; the current version always applies. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, our liability to you for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
